The Old Parsonage is a must for all golf lovers as Elie golf course is just behind the property and you can walk out of the back garden and straight onto the 18th fairway Several famous links golf courses are close by, and the championship courses at St Andrews are only 15 minutes away. Many other activities - including horse-riding, cycling, climbing, sailing, windsurfing, water-skiing and diving - are also available in the local area.

The cottage is also perfectly situated for a seaside holiday, being only a two minute walk to the lovely stretch of the golden sandy Elie Beach, and a 10 minute walk to the award-winning blue flag beach by the harbour where the famous Ship Inn is located. There are numerous pubs and restaurants to suit all budgets just a few minutes away. Local shops, include a baker, delicatessen, pharmacy and gift shop. The area is ideal for walking and cycling or just relaxing in this secluded location.
